Womens Business painting is about the gender sacredness of our relationships and responsibilities on country as a woman. Raising a child is the biggest responsibility any person can have because our children are precious, and they belong to country.

In Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, "Women's Business" refers to the traditional roles, responsibilities and knowledge learning are specific to our women. 

It's a sacred and secret practice, passed down through generations, and differs significantly from Men's Business. Women's Business includes aspects like caring for children, maintaining cultural knowledge, and participating in specific ceremonies.

In Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, certain customs and practices are performed by men and women separately and are referred to as men's and women's business.

Women’s business is meant to restore harmony. It teaches women about the knowledge systems on our reciprocal relationships and responsibilities. Access to this knowledge is a gift and forms a contract of reciprocity. One piece of knowledge connects to all other systems.

Women have the responsibility of having the strength to raise their children to be what they will be. The learning of cultural knowledge is highly interconnected to learning this responsibility
